Yes Bank appoints Anurag Adlakha as new Chief Human Resource Officer

Yes Bank on Wednesday, December 30, has announced the appointment of Anurag Adlakha who is currently the Group Chief Financial Officer as the new Chief Human Resources Officer.
He takes over from Deodutta Kurane who is due to retire shortly. Niranjan Banodkar will take over the position of group CFO. Both these appointments will be effective from January 1.
Adlakha is a seasoned banker and has been with reputed banks for over two decades. He has also had a ring-side view of developments at Yes Bank over the past year-and-a-half.
Banodkar who is currently the head of strategy is a chartered accountant with 17 years of experience and has been associated with Yes Bank for the past 15 years. He was very closely involved with Yes Bank’s successful follow-on public offering earlier in the year.
“I am very confident that both these appointments will significantly benefit Yes Bank,” said Managing Director and CEO Prashant Kumar.

Jindal Steel and Power appoints Hemant Kumar as CFO

Jindal Steel and Power Ltd (JSPL) has appointed Hemant Kumar as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and key managerial personnel from Tuesday.
He has been associated with JSPL for more than nine years and is a strategic planner with cross-functional experience of working in close coordination with senior leadership teams in the formulation of business strategy for operating plans and long term plans.

Kumar has over 28 years of experience with leading industrial houses like Dalmia Cement, Jindal Saw Ltd, Hero Motors, and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd. He has been instrumental in efficiently managing the treasury functions and largely responsible for handling a wide portfolio of corporate finance functions.

He is an alumnus of Shri Ram College of Commerce besides a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and an associate member of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India.
JSPL is an industrial powerhouse with a dominant presence in the steel, power, mining, and infrastructure sectors. The company says it is continuously scaling its capacity utilization and efficiencies to capture opportunities for building a self-reliant India.

Carlsberg Group elevates Joris Huijsmans as Chief Human Resources Officer

Joris Huijsmans will start his new role as Chief Human Resources Officer effective, 1 January 2021.
As Senior Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer, Joris will be the HR business partner to the ExCom as well as leading the Global HR Leadership Team.
Joris joined Carlsberg in 2016 as VP Group Strategy, involved in a broad range of strategic projects. In 2018, he was appointed VP Urban Development and New Business, tasked with reassessing the Urban Development project and was subsequently appointed MD of Carlsberg Export & License in 2019.
Prior to joining Carlsberg, Joris has over 20 years of FMCG industry and emerging markets experience. He has a broad background in general management, sales and HR in various international senior management positions in The Netherlands, Mexico, Singapore and Hungary.
Joris is Dutch. He has a Master’s in Civil Law from Leiden University in The Netherlands. Joris lives with his partner and will continue to work from Carlsberg Central Office in Copenhagen.

Schneider Electric announces top leadership appointments

Schneider Electric Infrastructure Ltd said on Wednesday its board of directors has approved the appointment of Namrata Kaul as an independent director for a term of three consecutive years effective from November 6, 2019, till November 5, 2022.
She had been a director on the board of Deutsche Bank India and is currently an independent director on the boards of Vivriti Capital, Vivriti Asset Management, and Bhopal Smart City Corporation.
The company also appointed Arnab Roy as a whole-time director for three years with effect from June 16 till June 15, 2023.
He has been associated with Schneider Electric Infrastructure since March 2017 as the Chief Financial Officer.
The company has appointed Mayank Holani as the new Chief Financial Officer in place of Arnab Roy from Wednesday.
Schneider Electric is a European multinational company providing energy and automation digital solutions for efficiency and sustainability. It addresses homes, buildings, data centers, infrastructure and industries, by combining energy technologies, real-time automation, software and services.
